Broward County Citation Information

For starters Howard C Foreman's office is constantly changing the infraction fees. As a result, I've given up with updating this information. Secondly, out of all of the tri-counties (which includes Dade, Broward and Palm Beach), Broward County is the #1 worst of the worst when it comes to paying your citation online and here's the reasons why.

Typically, people would love to know "what" they will be paying prior to dishing out the bucks. Lets face it, sometimes an officer ran out of payment fliers or, has no "payment fliers" and just hands you the ticket. Or maybe, you threw it out in error. Alas, having a payment fee page link is just toooooo much work for Howard C Foreman's web development team to do.

What Broward County Clerk of Courts office (under the direction of Howard C Foreman), would much rather do (in addition to penalizing you with the hefty fee) is aggravate you via telephone (which you will either remain on perpetual hold or, end up getting frustrated with their "automated" system. In this case - I really don't know which one is worse .... perpetual hold or their "automated system".) With, the icing on the cake being getting aggravated via their web site.

Furthermore (and consider this fair warning), many people whom I personally spoke with (who paid via the not so wonderful Howard C Foreman Broward County Citation web site/internet) were under the impression they elected traffic school. After taking the course (to full fill the traffic school election requirement) and hand delivering their certificate, informed by the processing clerk when they "paid online" and did NOT elect to go to traffic school and now they "have points" on their license. On TOP OF THAT ... the assisting clerk did NOT even tell the traffic offender "how" to fix it! (Yes ...it CAN be fixed.)
