What You Should Know When Selecting A School

We want you to feel confident and secure when choosing Avanti Auto Driving School for all of your driving school needs.

Avanti Auto Driving School is a family owned and operated business since 1986 and we feel strongly that we have a moral obligation to teach you or your child the importance of safe driving behaviors. With this obligation comes integrity and honesty.

Rest assured, we will not give false information or conjure up false impressions about our company and qualifications to win your business.

If you should select another driving school, please be mindful of the schools and instructors qualifications. Your driving education and safety are important not only to us but, to all drivers sharing the Florida roads as well!

Here are some sample questions to ask when interviewing a driving school.
 
Remember: Experience and safety should be your number one concern when selecting a driving school for yourself or your teen.

1. How long has your school been in operation?

Note: Please keep in mind that driving schools here in South Florida open and close in a matter of months.

2. Who will be the instructor? Do you want a female or male instructor?

Whether you're inquiring about lessons for yourself, your teen, family member or friend rest assured Avanti Auto Driving School is a family owned and operated business since 1986.

3. Is he or she certified by the state of Florida?

Note:  Insist on seeing the instructors' license at your first lesson as well as Identification.

4. What is the age of the instructor?

Although this may seem like a silly question to ask, keep in mind, some instructors are not much older than the teens they teach!

5. Does the instructor speak fluent English?

Even though our handbooks are multi-language written, the official language in the State of Florida and USA is English, and so are the road signs!

6. Will there be anyone else in the vehicle, other than the instructor during the lesson?

Note: Some schools "share" the vehicle with 2, 3 and at times 4 students in one vehicle. Their philosophy: Learning by other students mistakes.

Avanti Auto Driving School takes pride with one-on-one instruction that is customized to the students individual needs. Learning by other students mistakes (with other students in the car) just doesn't make sense to us and it shouldn't with you.

7. Do they charge a flat rate or are there any "hidden" or "extra" fees?

Note:  Some schools add a surcharge fee or, charge a different instruction fee based on your location. Some schools even try to lock you in for a certain amount of lessons by calling it a "discounted" rate AND insist that you pay in advance.

At Avanti Auto Driving School you can take as many or as little as one single lesson and the rate is the same and there's no "hidden fees" either!

These are just a few questions to ask, and remember; a schools qualifications and length of business can be easily verified online.

As a responsible parent or consumer, it's important to do your homework before selecting your school of choice.
